WHERE DOES YOUR PATRON MONEY GO?
Foremostly, your donation goes towards us planning and delivering exceptional arts experiences for you to enjoy.
Further to this, we want to share the impact your contribution makes and how it will add to our community:
EDUCATION AND YOUTH PROGRAMME
Your patronage helps us nurture the next generation of artists and thinkers by supporting educational initiatives such as workshops and performances at local schools with artists, and opportunities for our students to engage in our Aspiring Conversations.
ACCESS/INCLUSION/COMMUNITY PROGRAMME
Your contribution will ensure that we maintain and expand our programme to provide free and accessible experiences to all, regardless of mobility, age, gender, or socioeconomic status. This includes community days and commissions for community projects such as our popular annual community dance performances.
PAY IT FORWARD
A percentage of your contribution will go toward funding tickets for families who can't afford to attend events. This will be achieved through partnerships with schools and Community Networks/LINK Upper Clutha, creating opportunities for those who may not otherwise be able to participate in the Festival.
TWO FESTIVALS
Patron donation supports the 2025 Wānaka Festival of Colour, March 26 – April 6th and Aspiring Conversations 2026.
As a not-for-profit charitable trust, we rely on the generous support of grants funding, sponsorship and donations from our Patrons and Benefactors.
To thank you, it’s the Festival team’s pleasure to make sure you are:
● invited to our priority booking period before public sales commence for both the Festival of Colour and Aspiring Conversations.
● invited to our programme launches and other special festival functions.
● invited to priority booking and notification periods for off-season music and theatre events.
● recognised in our Festival collateral for your critical contribution to the arts in Wānaka.
● updated on upcoming events, artist interviews, and festival news.
● provided with a tax deductible receipt upon your donation.
